General Tamil is considered the most important syllabus in examinations conducted by the TNPSC Examination Department. TNPSC Group 4 exam General Tamil Syllabus:

The syllabi for all examinations conducted by the TNPSC Examination Department are prepared by professors appointed by the TNPSC Examination Department. The syllabus prepared by professors will be first published only on the official website of the TNPSC Examination Department. The TNPSC Examination Department has released an updated syllabus to replace the existing old syllabus.

Therefore, two syllabi, the old and updated versions, will be available on the official website. However, it is sufficient for us to read only the updated syllabus now. TNPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern:

1. All TNPSC Group 4 Exams will be conducted for a total of 300 marks.
2. A total of 200 questions will be asked in the question paper.
3. Each question will be awarded 1.5 marks, for a total of 300 marks.
4. 100 questions will be asked from General Tamil subjects only, with each question being awarded 1.5 marks, for a total of 150 marks.
5. Therefore, if you choose only the General Tamil subject section, you can score easily.
6. The remaining 100 questions will be asked about general knowledge, mental skill development, politics, sports, current affairs, etc.
